Michael Walker, better known by his stage name DJ Insanne, is a radio personality, voiceover actor, producer and premier DJ.  Listening to his mother play piano in church weekly, admittedly, influenced the California native.   Insanne is a multi-instrument musician, who astonishingly learned to play piano by ear at age twelve.

From the onset, Insanne’s passion for hip-hop was apparent as at the age of fifteen he constructed turntables from placing his mothers old “coffin stereo” on top of his Mr. T puzzle box; thus his very first house party was spawn.  It would be though the house party and mixtape circuit he earned the name Insanne from partygoers for his seamless blends and spellbinding scratching. The respect ultimately paved a path for his radio shows ‘Flava Fo Ya Ear’ on iHeartRadio’s former 92.3 The Beat and both KJLH’s weekly ‘Black Out Mix’ and ‘Friday Night Mix’ shows.  From this, a solid foundation was laid from which Insanne built a long lucrative musical career.

Insanne has played musical host to large crowds at distinguished venues and renowned festivals such as Prince’s famed Los Angeles nightclub the former Glam Slam, The House of Blues and The Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre for 15,000 screaming 92.3 The Beat Summer Jam fans.  Recognizably, no rookie to the rap game Insanne’s credits include, but are not limited to, working along side such greats as the late Tupac Shakur and Teena Marie to Dr. Dre, DJ Quik, Brandy, Gangstarr and the legendary KRS-1.  In 2016, Insanne is set to launch a series of mixtapes to begin with Who Is DJ Insanne? available on SoundCloud.com Summer 2016.
